Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shevchenko is the Kyrgyzstani and Peruvian Muay Fighter from Thailand, as well as mixed martial arts artist, currently competing at flyweight within the UFC. Shevchenko was matched against Jaimelene Nievera in Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11, Antonina's superior strike skills enabled her to TKO Nievera via knees in the back of her. Following this victory, Antonina signed an UFC deal. Antonina Shevchenko made her UFC debut in the TUF Heavy Hitters Finale against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko suffered defeat to Roxanne Modafferi in a split decision, after winning her first fight. Antonina recovered from her defeat and beat Lucie Pudilova during UFC on ESPN Covington vs. Lawler via second-round rear-naked choke and won the fight of the night bonus for the fight.
