Selena
She was singer performer designer and broke down barriers in the industry of music. Her function as a Mexican American performer was modern and traditional. She helped bring Tejano to mainstream fame with her innovative approach. The same way most people grieve a celebrity who died too young, her death was not a good time and ended an energizing career. In the years since, her admirers have been working more to not forget what she's accomplished. Selena's shooting death sparked emotion in Latino culture that can be similar with Elvis Presley, and John Lennon. Selena was a wildly popular singer among Latinos in North America. But her music was a hit with both the young as well as the elderly. Selena has been called by certain people as a Latina Madonna, but she's still an excellent role model. Selena's family values off stage and her participation with AIDS awareness efforts provide a great example.
